Location of Son Doong Bungalow

Located in the center of Phong Nha village, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh Province, Vietnam, Son Doong Bungalow is around 800m away from Oxalis Adventure Head Office and 1,5km from the center of Phong Nha town. This place is considered a prime location in Phong Nha-the kingdom of caves. It welcomes you to the indigenous culture of the friendly, hospitable local people.

Tourists can walk along the river bank or cycle (free of charge) to explore the Phong Nha area, visit traditional craft villages, see fish farming on the Son River, or other attractions such as: Phong Nha Cave, Dark Cave, Mooc Spring, Paradise Cave… Kayaking or SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) on the Son River is also a chance for tourists to relax and enjoy the magnificent beauty of sunrise and sunset on the Son River.

Room amenities

There are twelve rooms in rustic style but still modern and fully equipped. The outside walls are painted with vivid frescoes of famous caves in Quang Binh. Inside the rooms are equipped with a two-way air conditioner, for both warming in the winter and cooling during the hot summer, and a private bathroom. Son Doong Bungalows also provide smart TVs and free internet, along with an airy and comfortable space.

There are two regular type of rooms:

• DELUXE room: spacious and comfortable room with an area of 35m2. The room is equipped with two beds (one double bed and one single bed), both indoor and outdoor bathroom, providing full facilities (hair dryer, LCD TV, free internet, swimming pool…)
• SUPERIOR room: each room also has a spacious and comfortable area, around 35m2. The room provides one Queen size bed (1m6x2m), suitable for a family with two adults and one 6-year-old child. Each room is fully equipped with amenities, ensuring the guest’s experience.

Swimming pool

Bungalow has a long swimming pool, running along the rows of rooms. Two sides of the pool are decorated by six Rangoon creeper trusses. They entwine, blending into the background of undulating limestone mountains to create a poetic landscape, bringing you an unforgettable swimming experience.

Restaurant

There is a restaurant inside the hotel's campus serving guests with breakfast (included with the room), À la Carte lunch and dinner with a local speciality menu. At night, guests can enjoy the peaceful Phong Nha right here under the shimmering lights.
