This amazing 2 day tour encompasses all that is special about the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. Massive caves, pristine jungle and crossing many rivers and streams. The trek leads to a minority village of only 42 people deep in the heart of the jungle. After the minority village the trek continues in a superb river valley which leads to the fabulous cave Hang En. This cave is the biggest wow factor in Vietnam that can be visited in just 2 days. This is the feeder cave to Hang Son Doong the world’s largest cave. Hang En is probably the 3rd largest cave in the world, and was featured in the National Geographic Magazine in 2011. En means Swift and the cave is home to thousands of nesting birds.
The camp in Hang En is positioned inside the cave with a huge entrance 140m wide providing daylight in the camp. Flying foxes are often seen at dusk gliding from one side of this entrance to the other. The river flows next to the campsite providing perfect bathing facilitates. Where the two passages join, Hang En is almost 200m wide.
